For Ritchie’s birthday, I also wanted something inspired by the little song I’m always singing to him: “Baby Ritch, we finna get rich.” 😂 But underneath the joke is something I think a lot of parents understand, the desire to give your kids the fucking world. To give them more, let them experience more, and watch them enjoy things you once could only dream about. Ritchie Rich takes that feeling and makes it shamelessly materialistic: money, luxury, excess, and the freedom to have and experience the things you want simply because you can.
